I had one, exactly like efstop's. 2019 Sparkling Burgundy. With P90's.

But, I sold it, because I have this. And I just happen to prefer Les Paul's. And they sounded the same, basically.

Glad to have you playing Gibson more than you were.

I don't think I took any pics of the Gibson after doing a bunch of mods. It doesn't exactly look like an HP anymore.

Let's see what pics are on this laptop besides the Burny RSG 70 in my avatar. I have 5 Burny SGs ranging in age from 1973 to 1984. Two Bacchus and a Greco SG Special.

This is the 2011 or 2012 Bacchus SG Custom.

I don't see any pics of the others on this laptop.

This is the full list from newest to oldest:

1. 2017 Gibson SG Standard HP in cherryburst
2. 2011 or 2012 Bacchus BSG-CTM in pelham (pictured)
3. 2002-2005 Bacchus BSG in faded cherry, 61 style. Possibly very rare.
4. 1989 Greco SS63-60S in cherry (SG Special with p90s and wraptail)
5. 1989 Burny RSG 70 3 pickup custom with some different features than one in avatar
6. 1984 Burny RSG 75 AY (Angus Young model with lightning bolt inlays-thought pics were on this laptop but maybe on the near dead one)
7. Pre CNC (so 1982 at latest) Burny RSG 70 in black (guitar in avatar)
8. 1977 Burny FSG 75 in white (pictured). These were all special order from a dealer
9. 1973 Burny FSG 70 (pictured)

I never really loved the body shape, but it grows on me. I haven’t tried an SG in decades. Can you get them with bigger necks now? If I recall, they all had slim - “slim taper“ neck profiles.

The Gibsons with batwing pickguards have bigger necks than the ones with the small pickguard.

The 2011 and 2012 Bacchus ones have a pretty good sized neck.

It always takes me a minute to get used to the neck on an SG because I play LPs almost all the time. I go to play an open A chord and my finger ends up on the third fret instead of the second if I'm not looking.
