Thanks you two, I was wondering last night even if I need another guitar since I have two beautiful girls already that are outstanding. But this morning when I woke up, I think I still need the custom to fulfill my needs. I think I may go for the Yellow Widow which is also very sweet. I have been tossing it back and forth about the Yellow Widow and the Centipede Burst.

I am so very bummed, I was working today with GC on my order and they had to cancel it. They will not be getting the Orange Widow in at all now. It was suppose to ship to them but Gibson notified them that they could not find the one they had showed as in stock.

Yep, definitely a bonehead move on Gibson showing they had a guitar that they did not have. It happens at Best Buy all the time for me when they show they have one left of an item and can never find it. Oh well, I did purchase the Yellow Widow Burst which is also very sweet, I just hope the one I get has a really nice top like the picture I posted and the one I saw on Gibson's web site.

The guitar has shipped, I am now one step close to receiving my Les Paul Custom guitar.

Thanks Everyone. This is definitely a nice late X-Mas present to myself, where opening the box and then opening the case to see how she looks will be a big surprise. I was able to choose my Blueberry Burst December 2016 from Sweetwater, on which top I think looked the best. I ordered my Black Cherry Burst from Guitar Center and that was blind folded, since the guitar was pre-ordered waiting on more to come in, so it was coming unopened and unseen from Gibson. Most definitely if this one comes looking like the picture above, it will please me more than the looks of the Orange one. When I first saw them, it was on the Guitar Center Website with the choice for the Yellow or Orange one. The Yellow one on the Guitar Center Website did not look very bright and vivid like the pic on Gibson's Website and I love Orange, so at that moment it was a no brainer to get the Orange one. Then after googling to find more specs, I found them on the Gibson Website, where they all look very sweet, especially the yellow one. At that moment I first saw the yellow one, I was wishing I had ordered the Yellow, but still very stoked and happy with the Orange. I mean, the Orange one or the Yellow one when it comes, who knows how vivid it's going to be when they don't take pictures and post them. I was told this is an unopened item directly from Gibson, so it will be a big surprise for everyone once we see her. The rep at Guitar Center wants me to send her pictures after I get her, she says she can't wait to see what she looks like.

Did you happen to see the limited edition Scorpion models before you decided on the widow? I like unique LPC big time and own a few myself. The Scorpion was perfect split between a traditional black beauty and one of the widows. I'm curious how much of a price difference there was between the two since both are so limited?

You can actually see the flame through the black finish too in better lighting. Also Musicans Friend is still offering the orange widow for sale pre order?

Thanks for the link, I did see those and thought they were pretty sweet. I like the Red Scorpion the best, but I still do like the Widow and Centipede a little bit better.
