There were just enough people there to drive me insane. For the record, more than 10 drives me insane.

I like turtles.

There was a time when I was steadfastly pro-turtle. Then, one day, while visiting the Tennessee Aquarium I reached over the see through barrier and touched a turtle. The touch wasn't violent nor was it perversely sensuous in a manner frowned upon even by Tennessee lawmakers....it was just a touch.

Well, an employee became a bit unglued upon seeing this and started talking about how unsafe it was because turtles have salmonella! I thought to myself, "if you know this then why don't you disinfect them???"

After a spell of pondering I came to the realization it may not be the turtles only at the Tennessee Aquarium. Maybe all turtles share the curse of raw chicken meat juice left on the kitchen counter?

I don't know, but I'm too pretty for salmonella. I'm now anti-turtle especially if I don't have Lysol on hand.
