I hate being sick

Ugh.

GF's kid had had a cold for a couple days now. I've avoided him as much as I can, but the night before last night, we were all on the couch. He was hacking...GF said something about it, I don't remember exactly what though. He hacked again and wiped his hand across mine. I washed my hands shortly after that.
Last night, he's toking away on the pipe... and exhales it right in my face. I'm getting close to leaving both of them in the dust over it. A heavy cloud hung in he living room tonight, burning my throat and nose. He's just been smoking all day.

Today, I wake up feeling like CRAP. Throat sore like I've swallowed tacks, sinuses plugged, and headache.

My assembly guy can't come to work till I'm done with this, else he'll be sick for a month.

I never noticed it personally and never had a day off work because of it.
I don't know what they're fussing about.

Had last thursday off work. Was getting so bad that because my sinus was so blocked up I could hardly talk.

I know what you mean about being sick in general. I recently had Pneumonia. I felt like shit for about 4 days, but the coughing didn't stop for weeks. It really did a number on my voice.

chicken soup, with extra pepper and etc. orange/citrus juice, and lots of bed rest. i find neo citran nighttime helps me get some sleep when i'm that sick.

get well soon. and next time a friend of yours is sick, have them hang around your kid and do similar things to him that he did to you.

Sounds like he was lighting up reefer, took a hit a few nights ago right before bed, one toke over the line was freaking out for like an hour

but i hate being sick too-- i had mono for 9 months once, people either thought i was a junkie or dying from the way i was looking, now i take extreme precautions to avoid getting sick, i have the feeling i have an immunodeficiency of some sort

Haha. Dude. Several years ago my brother got both my wife and I sick during a Christmas Eve visit. We're talking horking and ass-spraying non stop by both of us for a good 24 hours. Nothing beat sitting on the pot and having it come out both ends at the same time, and both of us fighting over the 'loo.

Never did find out what it was, but it was gawd-awful.
