I have to second what rykus said, you’re lucky.
I think my wife would like the master volume on this amp too

It's like a reset on the whole "too many (guitars/amps)" thing.

"Honey, I had all of these when I married you! I just want one more..."

She is cool with it all. She still enjoys coming to gigs with me and has surprised me with nicer things before. She actually questioned me why I sold the Peters and said I didn't have to.

We reno'd the house about a year and a half back. Mine suggested that I have a built-in cabinet designed to house about 40 of the guitars. Good start, but the reno meant that something more than 40 guitars broke cover. Oops.

I already have half the house filled with everything from vintage amps to modern boutiques and between them all, I have every conceivable tone covered. However, this amp just gets my wallet itching:

I already own a Carol-Ann so I know how talented a designer Alan Phillips is and know his amps sound and feel right for me. I have never owned a Dr. Z but looking at the build quality in the video, this looks top notch! I love the old school approach of a single-channel amp that goes from clean to mean by just varying pick attack and/or guitar volume. I also like the cathode bias/solid state rectified approach, as I feel that it gives the amp just enough squish without sacrificing tightness or causing ghost notes.

Maybe I can convince Santa Wife I need one more amp????????? :fingersx:
You need another amp.go forth and multiply.:cool2:

Been waiting for a video review of this amp, I’d like to hear how versatile this is... so far only metal demos I see

Hopefully in a few days I will have something up. I do want to try it through a 2x12 loaded with Celestion Cream Alnicos as that is probably the cab the head will get paired with most often. Unfortunately, the speakers are still in shipping delay hell.

As for material, although I still like to crank out some Dokken and Schenker tunes, nowadays I do mostly funk, blues and R&B, but I do them with a bit of my old hairband days attitude. Regardless, from what little testing I did already, I am really excited about the tonal options, feel and responsiveness of this amp. :cool2:
