Robert Plant did not smoke, he took my Bid to goof on me. Watch your pen around that bastard. Job hoppers never get any mention?

As lame as plaques and engraved items can be, they are a tangible symbol
of recognition and/or appreciation.

I got a Seiko watch for 10 years. Nice watch. Hardly ever wear it.

Use a Timex everyday. Damn things keep on ticking and
they are cheap as hell.

A full in-box? Your boss's secretary? The hubcap that flew off your pickup 2 years ago? C'mon, that's all I got. :hmm:

Usually I find stuff that's broke, usually with a note that says, "This is broke!"

I once got a plaque from where I worked and wondered why it was out on the lawn, then I realized it was just a piece of dog crap from the day before, bastards!

I worked for a Company who's 5 year service award was a
Seat Cushion that doubled as a flotation device. It had their
Logo on one side, and a safety slogan on the other. The 10
year service award was a coffee mug with their Logo on one
side and a safety slogan on the other. I get a little choked
up every time I think about how much they cared about me
to put a safety slogan on my service award. >snif<

Maybe after another 25 years I'll have enough for a small party.:squint:

I have only received two awards in my life. When I was a little kid I got one for winning a dance contest, and another in grade-school for basketball foul-shooting . . . which is ironic because I am a TERRIBLE basketball player, and an ever worse dancer.

I have two jobs - I have been at one for 35 years, and the other for 22 . . . no plaque, no coasters.

The company I work for gave me a solar clock for my tenth year. The solar clock is more like a sculpture but it is functional. They also give an original artwork at the 15th year (I'm in my 14th year now).

I received a Certificate of Performance at least twice a month for every job I've ever had. It was a prestigious award that I earned for performing my duties at the expected level of my employer.

Certificate of Performance = My paycheck. :laugh2:
