I did the silly driveway photo thing again

For about 8 years or so, the only physical grouping photo of "all" the electric gear (guitars/basses/amps/cabs) I had was one that I took on a Saturday in our old office library back in summer of 2012, before we wound up the firm. Of course, pieces come and go, so it wasn't accurate within a few years of that, if not sooner. But it's such a hassle to hunt everything down, put it all in one place, arrange it, photograph it, and then put it all back, that I couldn't be arsed to do it again. Plus, I've always done a "collage" type photo of the guitars, at least, which was very easy to update.

Anyhow, in 2020 I finally got round to dragging all the gear out on the driveway here at stately Casa Krashpad. It turned into a 2-day thing because I'd forgotten that I lent out a bass to one of my son's friends, and by the time he brought it over, it was dark, haha! But eventually it got done.

Of course, eventually I sold some stuff and bought some other stuff, but I resisted doing another "driveway grouping" simply because of the hassle factor. Until yesterday!

Here's the shot with the guitars added (check the amps forum for the amp shot and list of what's what):

I applaud you for all the work setting that up and putting it away must have been!

Thanks, yeah, I was kinda an all-day thing. But I had plenty of beer, and tunes, so it was fine. Frankly, I'm surprised I'm not more sore than I am, today. At almost 64, I'm getting a little long in the tooth for this, but it beats the alternative!

The guitars are still out in the garage, rather than back in the house where they belong. Amps are all in their proper places in the garage, though.

That natural Casino with Bigby is awesome! I always feel the good finishes Epiphone puts the Casinos out in are few and far between.

Also love that Squier Jagmaster II.

I hope you hired some roadies. Or maybe you just aren't middle aged...

Thanks! The Casino was a gift from bandmates, as I was recovering from throat cancer about a decade ago. Since I received her on Holy Saturday and she made her public debut with me at an Easter Sunrise service, she's called Mary.

The Jagmaster is a beater I just picked up about a month ago for $125, in a pawnshop that's going out of business. A fun cheapie I don't have to worry about more dings in.

Haha, that would've been nice! But no could do.

I'll be 64 next month.

I'm surprised I was able to get out of bed this morning!

Then again, I haven't put all the guitars away in their proper places in the house, they're just temporarily secured in the garage. I'll move them back little by little to spread the work out.
