Not telling them is the problem it is you. I had the same deal a couple years back. It was me loosing what I loved to do. I had to stop and just go with a real part time play time. I only fill it and that is less and less. Work to live never live to only work. I have to remind my self once a day.

So many things in life either don't work out, aren't meant to be yada, yada. What makes you happy is the most important thing you can do. Life is fleeting, if you're too busy it goes quicker. Be the ball!

/bliv'*t/ [allegedly from a World War II military term meaning "ten pounds of manure in a five-pound bag"] 1. An intractable problem.

Man, you've gotta do what you've gotta do. I've had to cut a lot of things and people out of my life over the last year, and all in all, I'm glad I've done it. There are things that I miss, but I sleep better at night than I have in a long time.

I have been playing in a 60s band, blues band and jazz group. The jazz group rehearses on Sundays. That is the day I try to spend time with my mom, who is 89 years old. I will take her to the store, to get a haircut, etc. I had to quit the Jazz band because of the conflict. That was tough, because my days as a professional musician in the 70s was playing trombone in a touring jazz group. I really miss it.
