So I took a woodworking class and decided to build a guitar stool.

The school got really nice industry grade machines.

Plans and materials, pine was chosen because it's cheap and I can afford to screw up.

Glued! The front legs are designed to be slightly tilted to the front at the bottom. The top does not look very nice since I used a laminated board, and I sanded through a spot...

Then I decided to add a top. I cut the back edge a bit in, so I can really call it a guitar stool.:wave:

It will take me a couple of weeks to stain and finish it, I will update later.

I hope I can build a guitar next. :D:D That's it for now!

Nice man!

You know you want to put a bursted flamed maple top on it! ...maybe with a "butt carve" even?

:slash::slash: I will think about these, a reverse Les Paul style top carve might be great for butt...

Nice work but that honestly looks like an accident waiting to happen.

What if someone accidentally bumps into it? I see you have skills man, why not build a rack? Goodluck!

Yeah I am kind of tired from building the stool though, I already have a guitar rack. Maybe I will build one more later on to leave at a place that's a bit easier to put guitars on...
