No big deal but this is a bit weird. This thing is a Silkyn Super 50 and was the brain child of a big shot at Gibson. It is a copy of an Engle 50 with the same tubes. A 12AX7 pre amp and 3 6L6GC. Any one know of these?
I am going to sell the killer big Fender I just bought for the NYC thing. The Fender is not house broken. Silkyn is I think.

Never heard of it, but there's one on reverb for $315 shipped. :hmm:

I'm saving up for a Mesa, otherwise I'd consider something like that.

I saw, I like, then I bought. Door bell rings, I die! It is a copy of the Costly Engel in the poopy picture. This thing was $160.00 new in the box, with the foot switch.

I bought the 100 watt Fender for the ugly loud, now I will sell it. That Fender could never be house trained. This Silkyn won't poop in my play pen.

Yes Mal it looks like my old AC30. I bought that thing back 3 times. This thing at 58 pounds is not as heavy.
Double handles are brilliant.

The amp is always unbalanced with the transformer or whatever on one side. So one handle is just....dumb.

First time I saw an AC30 I was like, "BRILLIANT!"

These are strange, I don't know if they were ever on a normal retail sales thing. They are made in the north west USA. A Gibson big shot way behind the building of them. There is no history of them any place. I don't get them all but I get the weird ones.

I love the Brown Studios,..truly.

They're like the Anti-Gibson, Gibson.

"we don't want to look pretty we want to kill you!" :dude:
