Hey fellas,

I need to order a bunch of pickup mounting screws. The sort that screw into typical Gibson humbucker tabs.

What size is that? They are 1 1/4" long, but I need the size and thread pitch..

Okay, next issue.

NOBODY has them in one and one-quarter length.

Does anybody know where I can get pickup mounting screws in 3-48, 1 1/4" long?

I usually get them with a new pickup. My Fender WRHB uses four of them and they are in the box.

I was beginning to think you were screwed.... but PLS hid them under the pickup-making-parts

The only thing I found under "screws" was the 3-48 x 1" Filtertron screws.

Phillips.... or you can use slotted just to screw with our Canadian friends :D

They didn't have jack squat over 5/8"

You sir, had the wherewithal to look in our own backyard, Philly Luthier.

Thank you for not being an idgit like me.

I opened this up thinking perhaps the Lt had been infected by the guy that was all philosophical asking about drilling P90 screws at the correct plane to match the neck angle (at least that was how I interpreted the question - think it was a backstage thread?)
:laugh2:

I used to get oddball hardware for Scuba and RC airplanes and motorcycles all the time from Lowe's.
Long after Home Depot eliminated their oddball stuff, Lowes was still the place to go.
But then they screwed the pooch... Only local place for oddball stuff is McFadden-Dale, I think they still have a shop in Ontario.
If you want a chrome alternator bolt for your Escape' you can probably get one there.

I bought stuff for my Camaro in the early 80s from their OC shop in Santa Ana... and I misunderstood one of the mechanics and must have spent an hour driving around looking for the corner of Dale and McFadden.

It wasn't originally, but it ended up there.

I just couldn't take any more of "Hewo" and put him in the cornfield.
