hulk is an accomplished musician but i doubt him on this, the time line doesnt even come close to adding up

hogan was wrestling for big federations before metallica even existed...he was even in new japan from like 80 to 84 or something...metallicas first album was out by then

perhaps he did know lars, perhaps he was asked to jam....but he wasnt asked to join a band that wasn't even formed yet

the metal massacre tape didn't even come out until what 81-82? and that wasnt even the actual metallica lineup that was still mcgovney and lloyd grant i think?

It is possible. Hogan was in the WWWF with Vince senior, but he was fired when he did Rocky 3 in 1982 and then later hired back by Vince Jr when he bought the company off his Dad and it became the WWF.

That said, Hogan is a bit of an egomaniac, so who really knows.

I saw Metallica in the early 90's.I had my band Old Fezziwig mach 1. I was BORED! I will say that had VERY good sound. Kirk was all wanky. I prefer him on a Paul. Wigglesticks get BORING FAST! The show was pre-packaged at the Spectrum. I saw Maiden and AcDc and Priest there. it is VERY hard to convey power in a huge place.I guess they were Ok. Damn I sound like an Old head?
