If you know vintage 1958 style korina Explorers, and guitar building, you know how extremely rare it is to find a one-piece korina (white limba) body blank this size. You would have a very hard time finding another piece of korina this size - in particular, the width. The dimensions are: 18 7/8 inches wide x 26 3/8 inches long x 1 3/4 inches thick. This piece of korina will allow you to build a one-piece vintage 1958 style Explorer body, the vintage-correct way. This piece of korina is in great shape, with no splitting or cracking or any damage. In the photos, you will see the grain pattern - rest assured, this is not a crack or a split in the wood - that is just the color and pattern of the grain.
