how to roll fingerboard binding ?

hey y'all ,
i just received this morning my new 08 model LP Std , and its incredible !!
however , theres an uneven ridge all the way down the top edge of the neck binding on the bass side ( along the top edge where the frets are ) , which i'm assuming is due to poor finishing .
its the first lefty 08 model that ive seen , and i brought it from canada , so i'm not sending it back
i wondered if i might "roll" the edges to hide the ridge...trouble is , i dont know how to do it !!

ive searched the forum and found lots of posts that mention it , but none that details exactly how to do it.
anybody help ?

in the Epiphone section, I documented a start to finish, setup that included binding rolling.
