I ordered a set of Kluson stye locking tuners for my Les Paul Classic and the press in bushings are too loose in the factory holes.

Any idea what I can do to shim the holes to accept the new bushings?

Stewart-MacDonald sells some tuner conversion bushings that may be what you need.

You can get them on Amazon for less and not have to wait on the shipping.

Absolutely! That's what I used on a Fender when I switched to vintage tuners. Find the size that fits snuggly in the hole and cut pieces to thckness of the headstock, slide them in like a liner, insert bushing.
