It was 1966 and I wrapped Saran wrap around the strings near the bridge to simulate 'fuzz'.

Bought my first brand-new guitar, American Standard Strat, in ‘93.
Couple months later, my avatar Les Paul - also a ‘93.

Still, proudly, a two-string power-chord hack.

Probably 10 or 11 years of age when I got my first guitar.
Although I'd messed around with a ukulele before that and been beating on my older brother's guitar for a while.

so that would be about 14-15 years old.

Seriously got better through practice? 1982. I think my age
was about 33 or so.
