42 today :applause:

Got my first Historic/Reissue, a 2012 R8, around 10 years ago, the only one I ever bought new.

Since then I have owned a lot of them, all used, always searching for 'the next great one'.

Currently own two R9s, and honestly believe I'm done.

Wow - how do you afford it at 26? You must be doing something right!
No joke! I'm almost 39, wife and I have decent jobs, and I still can't afford even the cheapest RI (even used). We also have two children, but even before the kids, I couldn't afford one.

The weird part is, we're really good with money.

It is all about priorities !
Yep!

If I wanted to, I could sell most of my current gear, and be burried in RIs, but everything has some sort of sentimental value, especially my guitars.

A few years ago, I had the chance to buy my great-uncle's vintage '61 SG Standard (since sold), and could have, if I would sold a couple of my guitars, but nope!

Maybe, one day?

40 - currently own three RIs (two 59s and an LP Special) but the two 59s were pre-owned. Bought my first RI (a 58) new in 2016 aged 35, but part exchanged it for a CS Strat a few years later.

Bought my first R9 in 2016. I'm now 35. Seems like 30 to 50 is the demographic for the appeal of the old school bursts
