Dang, well once a month is a little much in my opinion, but i usually get mine re-set up every 6 months or so. give or take a month or two if i've had alot of gigs or not.

I do my own set ups and I do it good.

Every time when I change the strings on my guitar, I clean the guitar and set it up, intonation, action and all that shit. Every time.

Sometimes I change new strings, because I just wanna do a good set up.

BTW: I couldn't take it anymore. Saying my guitar is a he just felt wrong somehow. She's always been a she I've realized and I love her so much.

Well, I check it every time I play it, and adjust what needs adjusting. So it's a continuous process. It might need a truss rod adjustment twice a year, at most. The maple necks never seem to need anything.

Depends on the guitar.

I used to have have my Epi LP set up, at least, twice a year. But, I've had my Gibson LP for almost 3 years, and still haven't needed a setup (and, no, this isn't a "Gibson vs. Epi" thing).

When it feels off. I do all my setups myself. As long as it doesn't have a floyd. My LPs stays in their adjustments and very rarely need a new setup

I do all my own set ups and maintenance and like a lot of people here own a few guitars. Guitars require regular maintenance especially when you are gigging them they get banged, things like switches, jack sockets, volume/tone knobs work loose. It seems like there is always something that needs tweaking or tightening.

All you need are feeler gauges and the respective tools, no?

It is nice not to have to take the guitar to the shop.

I do them myself, usually twice a year, when I do deep cleaning.

When it needs it.

If it does.

I check at string changes, and in between if I notice something feels off.
But the climate around here is fairly consistent other than temperature, so I don't need them very often.

I've gone years without needing one...

I check intonation regularly when tuning and adjust.Truss rod when there is buzz and thats about it.I tend not to mess with the bridge cause lets face it the bridge didnt went off by its own.The neck did.

I check it quite regularly and if I'm not happy with something simple then I adjust it.
