I play every day up to 4 hours (not straight) and most of the time I try to focus on playing blues mixed with some jazz, but after 20 minutes I switch to the high gain channel of my Engl and here I go again...soloing like crazy!

And I play things like Satch, Gary Moore, etc, in the middle of that mess.

I just can´t stay for too long on the clean side of my amp!

Strange...

Metal/Blues---
I'm in a GnR tribute as Izzy so mainly rhythm
Well I'm married with three kids....so the practice does not start until everyone is sleeping. That said I play about 1-2 hours a day. Plus band practice once a week, and a few shows a month.

Mark that TSO gig sounds like a blast :applause: I play mostly classic rock and contemporary christian. Play at home everyday from as little as 30 minutes to 3-4 hours depending on how much free time I have. Used to play out every weekend sometimes twice, once in church and another at some fundraiser/benefit or youth gathering. Now my CC band is disbanded and I have been sitting in with a blues rock band from time to time. Not exactly my style but at least I'm playing until I get something else put together.

The Blues does it for me, usually 2hrs a day sometimes more. I host a Blues Jam so I get more time on Thursday night.

I play about a 1/2 hour a day. My usual routine is to TRY to play some guitar solo, but usually give up after a half-hour!

I think I spend more time on the internet looking at guitars and amps and reading about them than I do actually playing the guitar!

I play AC/DC, KISS, The Darkness, G-N-R... that kinda' stuff with my LP. I also play A LOT of OASIS on my acoustic.

I play HM, Rock, Blues with some attempt of jazz, but most of time I play hard rock.
I play every day 1 or 2, hours, but some time 3,4 hours or more. But I don't practice any particular licks, or scales. I rather turn on some music (any kind) on my PC and improvise over that. I think it's the best way to achieve experience with lot of different approach and harmony form .

The last paying gig I had was with a band I formed locally, called Travelore, and we played all originals. Our reviews were great, and compared us with Hemispheres-era Rush, Kansas, and Yes... Now that I'm not playing out anymore, I keep my chops up by playing along with mostly Rush albums - I'll drop in Permanent Waves, 2112, Hemispheres, or similar and play along. That way I get a good 45-60 minutes of practice every day. Usually I'll just jam a bit after the album is over, playing scales, riffs, etc.

I've finally assembled a pretty nice working home studio, so I hope to be doing some recording in the near future. I've got a couple of really talented friends that I'm going to collaborate with. I'll post some tunes when I get them recorded.

I pretty much play at least an hour a day, whether it's just picking up the guitar to play or actually plugging in to the amp. I mostly play contemporary Christian music as I practice playing for church, and I do like to just jam and make stuff up as I go along. I like to just pick a scale and improve my improv sometimes.
