Couldn't tell you. I buy a few 10-Pks every so often on Amazon prime. If I need them, I need them, so I buy the ones I want D's XL 10's and don't give the price a second thought.

Best Buy used to sell EBs and Boomers for 3.79. Whenever I went there I would just buy whatever they had on the rack in my gauge. Don't go much anymore and they rarely have any strings when I do.

About $10.00 a pack. I started buying 3 packs though at around $22.00. Helps save a little money.

100% of my electric guitar strings are EB Slinkies of various gauges. I try and take advantage of sales when they pop up. On average I pay @ $4-5 per pack.

When I come across sales @ $3-4 I'll generally buy at least 10 packs of my common sizes. I get strings from Amazon as a Prime Add On item and have paid less than $3 per pack that way on EB Regular Slinky.

Thinking back to when I started playing guitar @1977, strings have improved a 100 times over and gotten cheaper now then they were back then. I remember spending $7.99 + tax on Fender strings in the late 70's. And was lucky if they lasted a couple weeks without rusting away.

Nowadays depending on which guitar I'm favoring strings will last me 2-3 months + and wont have a speck of rust on them. I just play them until they get flubby or wont hold tune. And thinking back its been at least a dozen years or more since the last time I actually broke a string while playing. :fingersx:

:applause:

LaBella DTB Flats here, only $33 a set.

Of course I do buy guitar strings too, but I can't be bothered by whether one store is a buck more or less than another.

It depends. I alternate between D'Addario's and Ernie Ball. Hmm let's see...it's nickel wound...6 strings...steel strings...can scratch like my friend's evil cat...

Roughly $10-12. Somewhat pricy, but the quality lasts for such a long time.

I get the 24 pack price break and I think I pay 2.75 + post.
Made in USA by one of the fewer-than-you'd think string manufacturers that the seller isn't permitted to name.
You can mix gauges and get sets for different electrics, acoustics, etc to hit the 24 break.
I change strings before every gig and go through a lot of sets.
