I have 5 - an R9, an R0, an ES335, a Taylor 815 and a Guild D50 from 1968. It's 6 if you count the P-Bass. Everytime this question comes up I search threads for the picture a guy posted of his approx 120 guitars in a massive two level rack. He said it is "as good a way to store money as any." I never can find the pic. Gotta love the guy's it's just another way to store money attitude. I mean, I think he is rationalizing, but it's still awesome.

I'm with the I'll equipped gang, only 4 so far (I'd like to add two more at least)

The plus side is that my wife permits them hanging on the wall in the living room :thumb:

I only have 3 guitars currently but I only started playing in Dec of 2019. Bought the last one, the gold top, in September or October of last year.

1 Indio 66 DLX Plus Goldtop and 2 Silvertones, an SS10 and an SS11 or SS15? maybe? I'll have to look it up again. Pretty sure the only real difference is the rosewood vs maple and how the headstocks are done. One has a Fender-style and one has a 14 degree layback like a Gibson.

officially, i own 4.
unofficially, i own 7. let me explain

my personal guitars are:
Gibson BFG
Edwards LP
LTD EC1000T
Taylor acoustic

I'm not sure if I own it, but I have an Art & Lutherie guitar that someone left behind at my parents house. They dont need it, so I'm holding onto it in the mean time.

and somewhere in the house, i have another acoustic and a squire electric strat. They aren't mine, but my partner's who hasn't touched them in over 15 years....so...technically they are mine? but i haven't touched them in several years iether...

I'm in a perpetual state of flux, and not just with guitars.

At times during my tenure here, I've had dozens.

Currently, I have just my LP Standard, and my J Bass.

I stumbled upon the arrangement quite by accident, but I find it invigorating, and inspirational.

I'm playing more than I have at any time since my band dissolved 5 or 6 yrs ago, albeit late at night, through headphones.

I have no time to spend modding and flipping guitars at the moment, but somehow, I'm finding the time to play, for my own mental health, even if it does cut into my sleep time...

Honestly, playing music gives me a reason to bother being alive, and I'm so grateful for my guitar this Thanksgiving.

9 down from 18.
I just hated the big money sitting around so I sold most of the expensive ones. Replacing with inexpensive but great guitars.

Current number is 31. More than likely to be 35 by the end of '22.

Keepers - 15 electric, 4 acoustics, 16 amps.
Have flipped almost 200 guitars in the last 5 years.

Buy and Sell, build the cash, buy a keeper. Rinse and repeat.
