Im just curious. I think the most ive ever owned at one time was 12. I have 10 now if you count my bass guitars. I love variety. Each of my guitars produce their own unique sound, so its not like ive got two that do the exact same thing. What about you? How many do you own, and which ones are your favorite? Post pictures of you collection if you like. Id love to see them. My favorites are my Gibson SG 61 Standard and my USA Stratocaster (i have two USA strats but the newest one I got from Pop on here is my favorite of the two)

4 but I only have two in my possession right now. I honestly have different electric guitars just because I think they are cool. tone comes after looks. dont get me wrong though, if it doesnt feel good, I dont want it.

22+/-. I am trying to downsize in anticipation of moving out of this house into another, but then I'll have more room and not enough guitars to fill it.....

At one point it was over 100, but they were all flips. Less than 20 total now...much better.

I own more and better gear than my skill set demands or deserves.
Oh yeah, I definitely identify with that and none of my gear is high end.

I keep two electric guitars in Eb tuning that I use for jamming/gigs. Gotta have at least two for gigs. My other two electrics are tuned standard for practising new songs or jamming with the kids at school. The Yamaha Pacifica gets the least play because I prefer humbuckers or P90s. However, it has sentimental value because it was a project that I did when I wasn't even sure if I'd be able to play again (polyneuropathy). Therapy and time gave me back some skills. And then I have my acoustic which I adore.

These satisfy my needs, more than enough. I've owned more, but a few GAS experiences that turned out to only be a fart. All great guitars, they just hung there on the hooks, rarely getting played.

...Each of my guitars produce their own unique sound...
Kind of the same here. I have 20, but a mix of elec (solid body, hollow body, semi hollow), acoustic, 6 string, 12 string, well, you get the point. Between p/u configs, body styles, etc. each has their own "personality". BTW, I'm done buying, I'm happy with what I have (and I'm old).
