Mine is an 84 with the stock flip out winders and Gibson branded Khaler tremolo.
If I could go back in time I would not have ordered it with the tremolo, but it is a bit unique. Great stock Shaws in that thing.

This pic is hilarious, because you look wholesome while we all know that silverburst is an evil guitar, or at least it turns evil lol, weird dichotomy if you will

its hilarious indeed. Compared to what my main guitar is now (LP with P90s) though this guitar is super mellow sounding.

this is the guitar about 25 years later.

I really don't get it, @mudface and @eddie_bowers guitars look basically new with no tinting of nitro while mine and @Daniel.S guitars changed colors rather significantly, could it be different formula on nitro?

Actually it’s my I-phone camera doesn’t pick up the yellow very well.... both of my guitars have yellowed binding..., though it’s not as extreme as some can get. Though I have kept them clean and never let any kind of grime build up on them. When I gigged I never leave my guitars on a stand..... seen too many tripped over. Case kept even performing. To be honest,.. I couldn’t afford to replace anything at the time....had to take care of my gear.

well in the last 7 or so years it appears to me to have yellowed more than the first 30.
it does spend a lot of time in its case when not being actively played.
It’s still not bad though. I should get an updated photo.

Nice silvers. However many they made they are way too expensive now haha. I should’ve picked one up when I was able.

I managed to snag one, before the skyrocketing happened, I'm pretty happy with the deal tbh

Who knew how this obscure colorway could become one of the most sought after one

Next one, latte burst perhaps? (yes I like that color as well)
