I currently work from home. Before that I spent about 18 years driving an hour and 15 minutes each way to and from work. This is much better!
Thirty-three miles each way for me. It's not bad in the morning as the drive is fairly tame and I listen to Howard Stern but, at the end of the day, I just want to get the hell home.
I'd love to have a shorter commute but, over the past twenty years, it just never seems to work out that way and it's always around 45+ minutes each way.
I've got a 73 Super Beetle that I'd like to get fixed up so I can use it for my commute for better gas. I used to have a 8 mile / 10 minute commute until we moved last year. Now it's a 30 mile / 45 minute commute, but it's worth it to be closer to other things. We have just about anything we want or need within a mile or two.
What's that, like, 1/2 a mile?9 blocks. It's 5 or 6 minutes if we catch every light and get stuck behind a school bus.
Stairs?! You have to climb stairs?!Down the stairs, to the coffee pot. And back.
2hrs each way.
Thats a Twat,MattAbout 70 miles each way for me.
