How do you thank a thread?

Okay guys, I may just be an idiot, but I can't figure out how to thank a thread. I checked the FAQs, and this is not covered there. I also attempted to search this forum, but it says I can't search for the word "thank" because it is too common.

Hey Omaha, bottom right hand corner of the post will have a "thumbs up" picture.. If you are not a paid member, you may not have the ability. I think you can only thank the first post too.. Seems I have seen something like that somewhere...

Okay, I got it now. The "thumbs up" icon is only on the first post of each thread (and only if you're not the thread starter). That makes sense now. I knew it was something simple like that. Thanks chupe442. Stay warm!

You only can "Thank" the OP with the icon,

though you can 'like' every single post...

We have this kind of threads, regardless if it's mentioned in the F A Q or not....

Yep. Got it. Like a post, thank a thread. I figured out how to 'like' a long time ago. I just couldn't figure out how to 'thank'.

Yes but what the OP was saying was that he searched for how to thank and couldn't find it. Which is believable considering how useless the search function is here.
I agree with the OP. Wouldn't hurt to add it to the FAQs. Would probably only take a minute.
