At the moment I am thinking about either this one:
Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s MP Edition « Electric Guitar « Electric Guitars « Guitar/Bass « Musik Produktiv
or an regular ebony LP Standard Traditional.

Would you buy such a rare/unknown model.

Umm....I don't know. It would depend on how much I was warming up to it, you know? (and even though the source looks reputable, it's getting so hard to tell online...)

EDIT: The guitar in that photo? It looks like an Antique....in the US, they're going new for 2400USD on Clearance..

(except the models being offered are honey and heritage cherry...)

Now, I'm not stating "that's what it is", but that is what it looks like based on the pic I was shown....

(PS: It seems like a nice VS....if you've got the GAS, and you think the price is right...go for it!)

Thank you Sentry, for your feedback.
Yes, it is pretty similar to the Antique. I think it´s basically the Slash Antique :slash: without the Piezo, and a 1000 Euro lower price tag.
I guess I have to try the 2008 Standard first to make sure that I really favour the old school guitar.
And then I found this nice white LP Custom on another website .....
So many guitars to be bought, so little budget.
I think GAS is a pretty serious disease.
