How do I tell if my R9 is a '97 or a '07?

Got this guitar recently which I was told is a 2007. However, the case is an Art & Historic and the former owner did not have a COA (or know if the case was original). I can't date it by the pots, as it was upgraded to a Martin Holy Grail harness a few years ago. Five digit serial number is 9 72XX.

If anyone can tell me one way or the other, I'd really appreciate it. I'm happy to provide more photos if there are any distinguishing features that will help date it. Thanks so much!

Looks like 2007 from that pic. Back of the headstock, closeup of inlays, or cavity shots would make it more definitive.

Thank you all so much. Were Burstbuckers the standard pickups in these in '07? I've had a few LPs (including the white Studio I've owned for 24 years) but this is my first Historic. It's really a great playing and sounding guitar.

Chances are its a good one either way. It should have a MRW board which looks cool if not superior than the IRW used on 97s.
