I’ve had it a couple times myself. The hell of it is you don’t know it’s happening until too late. It’s not like a burn where it’s immediate. I got it off some sheet metal once of all things. I stabbed the Tinner in the neck with a sharpened stick of E7018. He died.
Yeah man. My first time it didn’t hit me till the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I woke up completely blind feeling like someone had tossed acid into my eyes. Fucking unbearable pain.

A college student stole ten grand from you yesterday and you're worried about a homeless guy welding?

:dunno:
I got a call today about my student loan, from 1979. My check for 10K will be here soon. Seriously, though, I got a call about student loan forgiveness. Scammers didn't take very long to jump on that wagon.

Are we certain it was a homeless guy and not just Dave Stephens working on his backlog again?

Over by the 7011??
I'm curious to learn this person's story arc.
I'd imagine it penetrates.

We always started school the Tuesday after Labor day, only saving grace was for many years my mother worked for IBM and they would rent out this park the first weekend after labor day so we always had that to look forward to..
You arrived by boat after going down the Potomac..

Old rickety roller coaster would scare the hell out of anyone..

I have a labor day weekend (usually) birthday. That's the end of summer signal for me.

I grew up in Chuck County, didn’t even know that existed. Looks like it closed down in 1980, when I would have been 11. I’ll have to ask my dad if he ever took us there.

Yeah we always went as kids in the late 60's early 70's but made a pilgrimage back around 78 or so and it had gone to hell and also looks like it became an inner city day park for inner city kids..
It was rather soul crushing but we learned that day things do not stay the same..

and the world mostly sucks:hmm:

Sounds a lot like Wild World/Six Flags.

I saw a homeless guy tear apart the transformer out of a Lincoln welder to score the copper wire.

It took him well over 8 hours,..... for five bucks in copper.....he didn't realize all that weight was iron.

California, specifically LA. The assholes stagger the shit schedules, so as to make sure NOBODY can have any sort of vacation.
