....this time for a Friedman

The Runt 20 combo has become my grab-n-go. Love it. At jams, it sits so well in the stage mix. But the factory ftsw lights up a red LED when the clean channel is active, and then the overdrive channel gets nothing. Never liked that. And I always have to take some kind of a boost for solos. I wanted to make a single ftsw that made both tasks better.

Thanks to a donor Mesa Transatlantic ftsw, it's a done deal. Button on the right changes channels, and now I got "propper" LED colors for each channel. 9v battery is tucked inside.

Button on the left is for Rhythm-cut/Solo-full volume changes. When the LED is off, the effects loop signal goes thru the volume pot on the side, which is dialed down slightly for the rhythm volume level. When LED is on, the volume pot is bypassed and the effects loop runs at full strength for solo volume level. A passive solution that works like a champ; been doing the loop rhythm cut thing for years. On/Off micro switch for the 9v is next to the knob.

I put zip ties on the cable ends so that I'll know by touch which cable plugs into the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hole under the chassis. No more need to tip the amp forward and break out a flashlight.
