Hey guys (and gals).
I'm Garrett, I ordered a Epiphone Les Paul 1960 Tribute Plus in Black Cherry about 2 weeks ago (of course, its on back order until August).
I have been playing guitar for about 22 years (off and on really), I mostly play hard rock and metal. This will be my first Gibson style guitar and I"m very excited to get it. It looks like a piece of artwork and from all of the videos I have seen, it sounds awesome.
I have never played an Epiphone (or Gibson) in my life , so mine will be the very first one I have touched.
You will probably see me posting more when I get the guitar, I'm sure I will have questions (hopefully no complaints).
So, here is looking forward to meeting some new guys (no homo).
Oh, I already found posts by JohnCooper , which led me to his birthday guitar, his blog and then his Youtube page. Wow!, What a genius that guy is.
