Hi guys,
Some days after I strung my Midtown blue lagoon (I used Minwax clear gloss lacquer cans), I noticed many pick scratches... so I decided to use some removable electrostatic vinyl sheet as a pickguard. (the product is sold as removable mickguard with a warning that it could interact with the finish...
I forgot to remove it after use... and some days later, it was too late...

I'd like to glue the clear pickguard stuff sold by stewmac, but I'm afraid that if I glue over the actual finish, it will be ugly... your advice please?
Thanks,
Xavier
