I think someone would easily pay $4500+ for that maybe quite a bit more. Awesome guitar! If you listed that for $3500 it would be gone in 60 seconds on this forum.

You got lucky…..that really is not the norm.

We’ve weighed 1000’s of them right here…..

Those two 7K sales that were mentioned were impulse/panic buys thinking the damn world was ending, those fools are crying now.

There was also a lot of that (at lesser denominations, but still stupid), across the board starting in 19/20, and a lot of those folks are starting to twitch a little, also.

Selling prices have started to loosen up.

@jrmaldon If the pups are factory routes and original, and you check out, I would do $3200 shipped to my door, and I am in the market.

I will want lots of good, clear, detailed pics.

Most everyone that talks “worth” never seem to put their money up…..

Maybe is right. Speaking of looking stupid - me for selling my CBS ‘76 Strat a few years ago for about a third of what it would get now!

Terrible guitar in my opinion and that’s why I sold it, but the thing is they are not making 1976 guitars any more and for youngsters under 40 these things are exotic survivors of a golden era of rock.

wudda, cudda, shudda……….. again, everyone talks, but no one puts their money up.

OP tell the man you will take his 5K…….tell him right now, before he comes to his senses.

Let me know how that works out.
