Certainly looks like an R9.
How much are they asking?
as far as to the spot im not sure maybe a missing or removed sticker or possibly bad spot in the finish they quoted between $1400 to 2400 it will not be sure till wednesday

Go in as soon as it's been "released" and try to get them in a "psychological state" where they'd rather sell it quicklyat a low price than having the cops come back a couple of days later saying it's been stolen!

Over 10 pounds would be unusual for an R9. If the case is stock that might be a 2001 model, the 1 in the serial means 2011 or 2011. Does it come with a COA?

I’d want a look inside the control cavity but at that price, it’s a steal - BIN.

no coa or paperwork of any kind other than a receipt for setting up the guitar

No COA is another reason to drop the price!
No COA is another point to suggest the guitar was stolen and they should sell it quick and cheap!

Pointed inlays say it’s a 2011, it has 60s double ring tuner. Might want to check if other stuff is stock.
