The 2 Greco's would be pancake construction pre 1980 if that may influence your decision.

Don't really mind the pancake body. does anyone know what the difference between the EG-600 and the EG-800 is?

Hmm, there are some nice MIJ's here...definitely look for an LP custom though, and call me crazy or superficial but binding nubs are a pretty high priority.

I got one from 76 and they are great guitars but that one looks a bit rough, you can do better than that for the money.
Member Wulfman has a couple of nice black customs and is a great seller. Give him a pm.

Decided in the end to go for the EG800, and also am getting an early 80's Burny Randy Rhoads Custom from Wulfman (Harold) in a couple of weeks.

Needless to say, so stoked!

Nice looking RR Wulfman, looks minty. Where have you been hiding that?

I got it a while back and just never had much time to take pics. It is a nice one with a great weight and fat neck. it is played a bit but was well taken care of with no war-wounds and good frets. I don't know if it is a mahogany or maple top as the previous owner hot-rodded it a bit with a switchcraft toggle with new wiring, big Orange Drop caps and black shielding paint in the cavities. I am downsizing so one or two of the customs had to go.

Mines 1983 fairly heavy, fat neck, thin frets, maple top and L8000 pups.

Well, I found three really interesting import LPC copies on evilbay and with only 22 hours left I have no idea which one to pick...

Greco EG-800 Custom Black 3 Pickup Les Paul Guitar MIJ 1978 | eBay

MIJ Vintage Greco 1979 made EG-600 cherry sunburst 3PU Made in Japan | eBay

Burny Custom Les Paul Black Guitar MIJ 80s | eBay

I'm new to the world of vintage MIJ LP copies, any advice as to which one here is the best deal?

They all look so sweet....

I would go for the Burny!. It is from the vintage period, (from what I know), and definitely better built...as someone else already stated this is a solid mahopgany body, and not probably a pancake. I have read theh Grecos from 70s are not as good as Grecos from the early 80s, or "mint collection". Make sure frets and truss rod are good.

Sorry, a little late to the party....
