I need expert opinions on this Les Paul pickguard. (FB was of no help, unsurprisingly)
It came off a 1966 Harmony Rocket H54.
I did a little bit of research, and with my (extremely) scant knowledge, I think it may be a rerouted 1952 Gibson Les Paul pickguard. It has an old sale sticker on the back that reads "- $20".
It fits up to the first pickup on my '59 Historic Reissue, but is too large to match the gap between both pickups.
It has what I believe to be the tell-tale "roller marks" on the back.
Unfortunately it has a deep scratch on the front from the bracket screw hole to the edge of the plastic, but it isn't a crack (see picture).
So... how would I get this authenticated?
I realize that this is not from a "burst" but I didn't know where else to go for help and opinions.
If it is truly vintage, it might be worth something to the right person.
How should I go about this? Thanks in advance...

That very well looks like it could be a 1950's guard or possibly from a 1968-1969 Deluxe (the same laminate was used). Its not a 1955-1955 guard because the screw hole is too far back. Drop me an email at [email protected] and I can send some printable templates to you for the various 1950's and 1960's pickguards so that you can compare it to see if one's a match. I could also rout it to match your Historic providing that there's enough material remaining.
