so lately a post on another forum got me thinking about my first guitar and how much i wish i still had it so im in search of the model that it was. without pics this might be hard but i remember everything about it. it was a strat style body that had been refinished. im assuming alder or basswood. the neck was maple and was oiled. ebony board with dot inlays. a black floyd rose bridge stock. h-s-h configuration with a master vol. and master tone and three mini toggle switches. i have no idea what the switches did but they were there. there was no logo on the headstock. probably because of the refinish. and a locking nut. the headstock was kramer/ jackson shaped. i know this is pretty vague but i would give anything to get that one back but it's in a landfill somewhere. im trying to capture the magic that i had with that first guitar. thanks in advance.:)

Could it have been a Yamaha RGX312? Super strat shape, HSH layout, single locking trem in chrome or black and black locking nut. They had Rosewood boards but a lot of them were very dark with closer grain than usual for Rosewood, so appeared quite like Ebony. 24 frets a bolt-on maple neck and an Alder body. The droopy headstock on my RGX snapped off early but that just left it a bit more pointy.

what year are you thinking because all of them i have seen have 1 hum. the horns look too pointy though. if i can use my friends scanner i will try to get a pic. the floyd was black also and black knobs
it also has two dots on the last fret and the headstock looks like a jackson
