Hi Guys,
I recently bought some vintage clone pickup rings. These came in an Allparts bag. I was suprised at how peach/tan they looked. I expected more of an off white based on the pictures I've seen here.

So now I wonder if I was accidentally shipped Historic rings. Is there a way to verify that these are VC's?

Thanks.

I'll post some later tonight.
It's really hard for me to get the color accurate as the flash washes everything out and it's been dark and rainy.

Is there anything specific you would want to see?

Who did you buy them from? Very surprised to hear they came in an Allparts bag. Have ought numerous VC bits here in the UK, and all came in VC branded bags.

Maybe have a look at this site and see if they look anything like?

I called Allparts. They put the Vintage Clone stuff in their own packaging. The dealer I got it from special ordered it for me, so I'm pretty sure everyone involved believes they sold me the correct thing.

This picture is with a confirmed vintage clone pickguard.

Here's all my VC stuff but It's in direct sunlight and very washed out. The pickguard on the left is a 2003 historic.

Here is a link to the VC site. It looks like there is a version 2 pickup ring. It has a tan hue to it.

Is there a specific marking that would distinguish a VC from a historic?
