I picked up a nice 1990 Gibson Les Paul Studio the other day. The guy I bought if from said it was all original to his knowledge, but the pickups look a little off to me.
Took it apart last night to do a setup and i dont think these are stock pickups. There is no Gibson logo on the baseplates and the screw pole pieces do not screw thru the baseplates.
Did Gibson make humbuckers in the 90's that didnt have Gibson stamped on the baseplates or pole pieces that screw into the baseplates?
The pickups have braided leads and seem like they are good quality. Just trying to ID the pickups. Thanks!
