Just going from memory.
Seen a story that friend of a roadie still had the case (little worse for wear) all these years and got to hand it back to Page and hang out for a bit. Cool story.

That's not an actual custom, it's a neck replacement. So technically it's a custom custom but not actually a custom

So the reissue would be a Custom Shop Custom Les Paul Custom?

Gibson labeled their 1974 Les Paul Custom reissue as "The Custom That Rocked The '70s! " Can anyone help me identify some of the guitarists from the 1970s that played Les Paul Customs? The two I already know would be Randy Rhodes and Steve Jones.

I’m glad someone posted this… i saw this morning that after four pages, Fisher hasn’t been mentioned…. Came on here just now to do just that. One of my absolute fav guitarists….I’m playing a ‘73 LP Standard right now largely because of him and his tone on those early Heart albums. It never fails to surprise me how he’s just not that known though, even though he cowrote some of the best rock of the 70s.
