I'll try to get pics on here later, budy of mine has a beautiful tea burst flame top, custom shop logo on the back of the head stock, nickle hardware, gold top hats, kluson tuners, tunomatic bridge, 6 digit serial 891086, custom art historic on the case, anyone know year and anything else about these?

Yup.. 98 or 99? (I could be wrong) Custom Shop Classic..... though the Nashville bridge screams Standard..... I thought Classics of this period were using ABR 1s.... ??

Gibson used that 'CS' insignia on the base of the headstock on just about anything.

CS Standards, Class 5s, Custom Colours, CS Classics, etc...

There were more CS models at that time then probably any time since. Which is funny because the CS was just a corner of the USA plant at the time.

My guess is CS Standard Flame Top.

Basically just a USA Standard with a nicer top.

Its not a Classic there is MODEL on the headstock and the Nashville bridge
Not all Classics had classic in place of model and if it was a Standard premium it would have the normal pressed serial number not the Classic font inked serial.

I think what is missing is the Classic TRC.
