Help identifying a Les Paul

Good afternoon!

A friend of mine has asked me for some help identifying whether this guitar is legit or not. Unfortunately I have no idea what model it is and I'm not clued up on Gibson serials at all.

The best I could do for him was run it through the Guitar Dater Project, which we all know is probably not the best way to check if a guitar is the real deal.

I only have these three photos which were sent to me, but the serial is 00170434. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Body shape, headstock, logo...and a quick Google of the serial number.

I think the asking price was £1300 with the case.
