The brand name says Eagle, but the logo looks nothing like the other Eagle guitars that I’ve been able to find in my searches. I’ve read that the Eagle brand guitars were built in Japan and marketed and sold in France. Any more information would be greatly appreciated!

This looks like the Hondo headstock version. Haven't seen one with wraparound tailpiece before tho. Might be a Hondo with an eagle nevk, might be an eagle with a different eagle neck. Could be a rare model not produced extensively. That's what I'm betting. Unique finish, unique tailpiece (adjustable at that), and a strange top. Might be a homemade body with an eagle neck. Still looks good though.

There is an amazing knowledge base over on the "Other Single Cuts" subforum. You may get more info posting there, as well.

Good luck!

Here's what Fjestad's Blue Book had to say about Eagle guitars:

EAGLE (SWEDEN)
Instruments previously produced in Korea during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Currently produced under the name Sweagle. See Sweagle in the S section.

Eagle produced guitars under that name until another manufacturer using the same name advised to stop using it to avoid legal action. Eagle complied and switched the name to "Sweagle." Most Eagle guitars are Korean copies of popular American designs.
