Another one - a 2000 LPC 80, again, claims to be MIJ from Fujigen

Clearly a different headstock from the one claimed to be an '89.

Looks like it sold or the listing was taken down. Probably figured out it was listed improperly.

idk why i havent recieved alerts on this thread anymore.

in the end i didnt get the guitar. something just felt fishy and its a hard buy when you can't see it yourself.

seller was insisting on paying and didnt have mood for giving details. was very short and somehow vague in answears.

this is the original link to the guitar, its still for sale. mod pls delete my com if i break any rule

I would walk away from that pal it looks like a dog. I don’t know much about epis I’ll admit I had a standard burst 30 or so years ago before I could afford a Gibson. However the logo on the headstock is to big and at the wrong angle. The trus rod cover looks wrong. Gibsons have the 2 screw covers. Epis have 3 as it’s cheaper to produce that way. This looks like a two screw like on a Gibson. Tuners don’t look right either. And that’s just for starters.
Pretty much all of this is incorrect.

The guitar is MIJ.
