Hey, everyone! I've been researching and trying to find more info about this Gibson Epiphone that I've had for many years (got it from a friend in Michigan), but am planning to sell. From my research, it seems that it is from the Cort factory in Korea in 1995 based on the serial number (C50402011). I don't believe it is as old as 1985 or as new as 2005 (I'm pretty sure I got it from the friend before then). I have found barely any at all online with the same metal Epiphone badge on the back - most have nothing there or a small circle badge in the upper corner. Am I correct in assuming that it is the 1995 model? And can anyone help with a value on it so I know what to put as a starting asking price? I'm having trouble finding values for this exact one (checked eBay, Reverb, Google, etc.). It does have some scratching and nicks/marks, but plays well and was recently fine-tuned by a local professional guitar player. Thank you in advance for any help!

Shawn

Not sure on serial number but looks right for a 95. The model would be lp-100

Thanks for the model number! That will help me in research. Was that same model number used across all years of this guitar, though? Because searching on eBay, most that come up when I search that model number are newer and still don't have the same Epiphone badge on the back. Just having trouble finding this exact one since there are so many variations throughout the years.

I'm not sure I can just recall in the early 2000's the LP 100 model had a bolt neck, slim body and no binding. They sold new for $310 Canadian at that time.

Looks like the LP 100, which is still in production. A step up from the slab bodied Special, it’s the most economical LP to feature a carved top, and the traditional control layout. It features the bolt on neck, similar to the budget priced Special.

This site is good for older Epis.:

It will give you a lot of info. However, it won't give you a price and it hasn't been updated for ages.

This next site will give you date made, and which country and factory:

This one won't give you a price either. However, both sites will help you with the info to move forward. :D
