Apologies if there has already been one. If there hasn't that just brings me to the point.

I've been burning up Youtube lately. Particularly their 70's stuff. Perfect example of an underrated band IMO. They were and still are awesome performers. Top notch female rock singer meets top notch female rock guitarist. On top of that they do the best Zeppelin covers out there.

Have they ever even been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? C'mon.

Nancy is still hot, the other one........... well she can still sing.

I like Heart it's one of my guilty pleasures, considering I am a metalhead.

I've always thought that their one guitarist, Roger Fisher, was a fantastic musician. I love his playing on their early albums.

It's too bad he had a falling out with the female members at the end of the 70s.

From what I read they were all screwing each other/had sexual pressures, etc. Just like Fleetwood of the Day as well.
Good music came of it though...until Roger and the founding members were thrown out of the band. That would leave me sour for sure if I were involved and still reeks of nastiness.

That said, the Wilson Sisters are a force. But the band was never as good after the original lineup with the Wilson sisters was changed.

Which is why you should never fish in the company pond.

Being in a band with Nancy Wilson though, I have to admit I would have tapped that.

Yea, that original lineup was great, but there was a lot of weird stuff going on at the time.

From what I've read according to Roger, he and Nancy had a relationship during the time, and she suspected him of cheating on her (which was true).

She dropped him, and she fell in love with the drummer, who had no interest in her (???). Tensions among the band members were running pretty high during this time, so it was inevitable that something would eventually happen.

Roger had a meltdown on stage during one of their shows, and ended up smashing his blonde Les Paul Custom on stage, and stormed off (there's a video on YouTube somewhere of the actual meltdown). He was voted out of the band after that show.

According to him, there was also a lot of drug use going on between all the members of the band at the time.

I've seen Nancy a couple of times around town. (Woodinville WA) One time she was filling her Land Rover with gas at the local Shell station. She's nice. She has a place about 7 miles from my home.
A buddy of mine has the phase shifter used on Barrcuda...
Great music. And it remindes be of some great times...

Oh no! I saw that custom in a video last night and was wondering about it. Shame.:(.

Saw them play at a junior college in '76, possibly earlier.
Maybe 15' away. Admission $7.
They were impressive.

That show must have been pretty cool.

I saw them at an outdoor show in Wisconsin in '79, right before the original lineup split.

Me and a buddy got to meet 3 of the band members (not the women) before the show. They were walking around, like they were just regular people there to see the concert.

Nobody but us knew who the hell they were. :laugh2:
