Silly stuff. A like button does not define a community like this.

I made a clever new avatar.

See it?

See the subtle irony?

that reminds me of the tinned fruit puddings the Brit army used get, Needless to say quite a few of them found there way into the local community and as the instructions for cooking were in English there was no way of knowing you had to take the lid off before putting it in a oven. We gave one to our Malaysian neighbor and it went off like a bomb

I have one thing to say.

Ham and lima beans. Otherwise known as "beans and mother_____s".

If you are a US solider or marine that served any time from Vietnam to 1983, you likely encountered the infamous C-ration. Came in a package known as a "B2 unit"; different canned entrees, dessert (as noted in a post above), sugar, matches, gum, buttwipe, etc. Those lucky drew beef stew, spaghetti, chicken a 'la king, etc. Those unlucky drew .. . well, you know.

They really were green too, not kiddin' I seen 'em.

They were a kind of grayish green right out of the can.

I don't recall having trouble scarfing them down, hunger is a good motivator, just had close your eyes or talk with someone while you were eatin' 'em. :D

But yeah, the 'Sam I am' jokes were rampant.

Thanks for the memories..

- Do you visit MLP less often?

- Do you post less frequently?

- Do you follow threads less intently?

- Has your overall enthusiasm for MLP waned?

For me, it's 4/4: Yes.

It would seem that I'm a sad, sad man.

No. I just do what I do, regardless.

Like button or no MLP is usually total and complete waste of time.

Anyone posting over once a day might well need a shrink.
