Oh wow, very cool. Great post.
The ES series are my fav models

1) Glad to see the 2014 Studios returning. A great model and great value. Now in wine red: sweet! No longer available in black: lame.

2) Block inlays on the Standards and Satins, cool.

3) The Satins are $2699! That's so crazy. The Satins were introduced as a value model and are now $1K more. So wack.

4) Burstbuckers in the Satins and Standards, and not Classic 57s. That's kind of weak.

Milk bottle? Does this mean kidney peg tuners? When did this milk bottle term start...

Its good to see that I'm not the only one disappointed that they went with the Burst Buckers. I like them alright but I think the '57s are killer.

I agree. I have had both. To my ears the 57s sound creamier and the BB 1 and 2 are a tad bit edgier. However they use the BB in the Warren Haynes model.

Finally a studio 335 worth buying, I want me a cherry one.

It's definitely nicer than the previous ones. Im sure the baked maple haters will be coming out of hiding though.

I would like to see more color choices.

I think the ES line is going to be the strength of the Gibson line up so far. Not crazy about the frets, but everything else seems like a plus and those studios are a great guitar for the money IMO.

Memphis is on the track. :)

I like especially 59 ES335 and 64 ES345. I have 59 ES345 from 2014 and its a great guitar, perhaps the best ES i have ever played (not had a chance to play 50s or early 60s though). I like new MHS pickups (much more than Burstbuckers and 57 classics) too.

New lower frets could be more vintage accurate, 2013 and 2014 Memphis reissues have much higher frets in comparison to originals.

The 2014s are worth buying -- and I did. But now I wish I had waited a year. Body binding and wine red. Didn't see that comin'.

I see baked maple is back for the Studios.

It's going to be tough for me this year - new 335 to upgrade from my Epiphone, or new PRS because I skipped it in 2014?

Personally I would go after the 335. Tough to beat a good one .

Olive Drab Green 335 with Bigsby? Going after those who didn't manage to pick up the Chris Cornell Signature are we, Mr J? Pretty smart move ... I already have a killer 335 but I want one of those ...

These guitars are really cool! It still feels like the prices are a bit too high compared to previous years, but i'm sure there will be good deals out there.

Gibson Memphis is probably putting out better guitars than the custom shop division.

Looks a damn sight better than the 2015 Gibson USA lineup.

I wonder how much lower the frets are, though...

What does the TD and TDC stand for on the 63 335? I've always wondered that.
