yeah, I've built a few.
It's not a bad sounding wah. The one I built for myself had a whipple and red fasel on a switch so I could use one or the other, or both in parallel for some real dramatic wah tone.
The only thing about BYOC I dont like is the boards are dual plated so getting a component out is a bitch if you decide to change it up.
I'd say go for it. Just follow the instructions and do it right the first time. They have lots of 'mod' options too.
