Hello, I need some help figuring out how to identify an unbranded case. I bought an Epiphone Les Paul and it arrived in this case. It doesn't exactly fit as the headstock actually hits the bottom of the case. When I brought it in for a set up the tech said in passing that the case was made to fit a was a 70's Gibson Les Paul. So now I want to sell this one so I can get a correct case. I just don't know if it actually is for that era Les Paul other than the word of the tech. Is there a way to confirm this so I can give an accurate description and price?

Looks exactly like the one my '73 Custom is in. Inside and out. Except mine still says Gibson on it.
The rivets, the latches, the handle, the bottom bumper, the cushions inside...
