I know you lost your dad very recently and I know how hard today will likely be for you.
I lost my dad two years ago, just 9 days before Father’s Day, so this is my third one without him.
I’d like nothing more than to talk to him today.
Maybe fly home, take him for breakfast and a round of golf.
It would be a dream to have today with him.
Alas, he’s not here to be able to do that, and it’s hard to deal with for sure.

I just wanted to say that I, and many others, have felt your pain and are feeling it still today, so you’re not alone.
Spend time with the rest of your family today.
Remember and cherish your father and the memories you had together.
That feeling in your stomach may never go away, but I’m told it gets easier with time.
